Counselling – laugh harder and love deeper.

OK this is a bit mushy for me, but I have just graduated and I couldn’t be prouder.

So you’ve heard people throw around that cheesey saying; ‘I’ve been to the university of life’. Well I just have. The university of my life. And despite the cheese it was pretty bloody important.
I didn’t come out with a certificate, or a new qualification. But I did come out with some seriously important life lessons.

The thing is I’ve just completed years of counselling. And I’m officially fixed.

This may not be a big deal for most people. But for me it is literally life changing. Because I’ve finally found happiness.

For the first time ever I’m content with me. I love me. And the great thing is that means I love deeper, laugh harder and smile more.

I’ve spent years avoiding my inner demons and I’ve finally finished confronting them.

I’m so proud of myself and I’d like to thank my parents, my boyfriend, family and amazing friends for being with me every step of the way. An extra special shout out to Lauren, who has been my absolute rock. I’d be lost without you guys – you made me see me how you see me and that is the best feeling in the world.

Thank you.
